The easiest way is to attach a file when you post.  Below the box where you type, click on Additional Options and then "Attach".

The preferred method is to upload your photos to a sharing site (like Smugmug or Flickr) and then link them here.  You need to use the direct URL to your image file.  Above the box where you typeare two rows of square icons.  On the second row, second from the left is one for "Insert Image".

There are a few ways. Blair uses Flickdriver and just copies and pastes the code into this forum. It's pretty nifty. I upload all my photos to Flickr anyways. To post them in here, I click on that little image icon. Second row, second from the left. It'll add the tags . On the website where your photo is, right click on it and click on "Copy URL." Then just paste that URL in the middle of those tags. Then your image will appear here.

I'll be damned if I know how to get my Flickr shots to appear here, been fighting this for almost an hour. Yes I have been following the instructions to the tee, so far nada.

Any clues?

Care to explain how you performed this dark magic? I am at the point of pulling out my hair.

Really?

I didn't do anything special.  From one of your pages:

Right click, Copy Image URL (on a Mac)

Sorry Phil, it's just not happening. I have one hell of a headache and a 3 hour drive to Palacios tomorrow morning (have to get up at 4am), so I am going to blow this off and try again tomorrow.

Thanks for the help anyways.

Thomas, copy your image's URL as Phil stated.

On the 2nd row of icons, the 2nd icon is the image icon.  Click that, and you will get this:

Code: [Select]
[img][/img]
Inbetween the ] and [, without any spaces, paste your image's URL, like this:

Code: [Select]

Follow the steps here to use Flickriver to display an entire Flickr set.

Thanks guys,

Yeah I figured it out soon after I made my last post.  I am running on maybe a total of 6 hours of sleep for the last 2 days, so I am way off my game.
