	Emirates airlines inaugural flight to Houston! On December 3, 2007, Emirates started their scheduled passenger service into Houston. Bringing a 777-200LR, they were greeted by the largest gathering of HoustonSpotters to date! Welcome to Houston, Emirates! Photographer: Matt Barnette

	Channel 2 Chopper! Shown here is the KPRC Channel 2 1994 Bell 206-L4, with FSI gyro-stabilized camera gimbal. KPRC's is the only helo based at the TV station offices, with all others based at HOU. Helicopters Inc. owns and staffs the news helicopters in Houston. Having done photo jobs for their Chief Pilot, I have been allowed to fly in the various helos, and been able to shoot air-to-air with many of the pilots and their cameramen. 	New LifeFlight Eurocopter! This HoustonSpotters EXCLUSIVE is a pre-unveiling picture of N452MH, the just-delivered 2007 EUROCOPTER DEUTSCHLAND GMBH MBB-BK 117 C-2. Eurocopter has recently renamed it the EC-145 to differentiate it form the BK-117. This shot was taken of the first of six ordered, prior to it being stocked for its medical mission. Life Flight pilots are transitioning to the new all glass cockpit aircraft and it should be operational in a few months. Hermann Hospital's Life Flight program started in 1976 as America's second air medical program, flying the SA319B Alouette. Today, it flies three BK117s and a B0105.
